Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. In this role you will support the 1st shift production floor of CCM High Mix in a test engineering capacity. This includes but is not limited to training test operators, troubleshooting test equipment and production hardware, analyzing systemic production failures, etc. This position involves a high degree of interaction with Test Operators, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering and operations staff, requiring effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to support production testing. Troubleshoot failures on CCAs by data analysis and visual inspection. Identify trends in defects and work with the appropriate teams to resolve in a timely manner to prevent future defects in the build process. May have opportunities to be involved in new test set builds. May be required to take on other duties and responsibilities such as test equipment coordination between internal customers. Maintain and improve production test procedures as well as review and comment on all production procedures maintained across the production floor. Integration of process improvements

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 4+ years experience with RF testing equipment
  • 5+ years experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience preparing and executing procedures
  • Experience troubleshooting systems using general test equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information.
  • Proficiency with the full suite of National Instruments (NI) software tools, including but not limited to LabVIEW, TestStand and NI MAX.
  • Can operate under minimal supervision and works independently.
