Provides advanced engineering, architecture, and operational support to Marine Corps units at Camp Pendleton. This position is designed for a seasoned USMC, Navy, or MCEN professional with deep expertise in tactical and garrison network design, C5I interoperability, and enterprise level systems integration. Serves as a senior technical authority supporting Fleet Marine Force operations, test and evaluation events, and enterprise modernization efforts across Marine Corps and Joint environments. This role requires both strategic engineering capability and hands on execution in complex, mission critical environments. Design, implement, and sustain LAN, WAN, CAN, wireless, and software defined network architectures supporting tactical and garrison operations. Engineer and maintain MCEN aligned enterprise and tactical network infrastructures, including IPv4 and IPv6 environments. Conduct advanced root cause analysis of network architectures and Department of Defense command and control applications. Establish and maintain application network baseline profiles and traffic flow models to support performance optimization and anomaly detection. Provide actionable network efficiency and architecture improvement recommendations to government stakeholders. Configure, operate, and sustain COC Variants I, II, III, and IV in support of deployed and garrison forces. Design and implement network modeling based on Fleet Marine Force tactical and garrison architectures. Provide network design and implementation support for developmental, operational, and integrated test and evaluation events involving USMC and Joint C5I systems. Deliver highly specialized interoperability and integration support across fielded C5I systems and associated tactical networks. Perform systems administration across Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. Engineer and administer virtualized environments, including VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN, vCloud, and vCenter. Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes environments supporting containerized applications and modernized C2 services. Perform network administration across Cisco, Arista, and enterprise wireless platforms. Administer and manage security infrastructure, including Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall solutions. Support Active Directory Domain Services, enterprise storage platforms, and C2 applications. Research, evaluate, and report on emerging networking, virtualization, storage technologies, and Software as a Service platforms relevant to Marine Corps modernization efforts. Develop detailed technical documentation including network diagrams, configuration baselines, technical notes, and lessons learned products. Provide direct over the shoulder training and operational support to Marines during exercises, deployments, and contingency operations. Interface directly with government leadership and technical stakeholders to resolve complex interoperability and architecture challenges.
