About The Position
QinetiQ US is seeking a Sr Buyer for our Franklin, Massachusetts location.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience- 7+ years in a procurement or purchasing role, with at least 3+ years in a senior position handling complex procurement tasks.
- Understands Contractors Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) requirements
- Use of CostPoint ERP system
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with company goals.
- Negotiate and execute purchase orders and Long-Term Agreement contracts with suppliers and secure advantageous terms.
- Perform price/cost analysis.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services from vendors.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements and regulations
