Position Summary: The Sr. Business Solution Consultant on our Mid-Market (NetSuite) implementation team is responsible for aligning stakeholders to define the initial scope of work or any significant business processes changes that may impact an existing solution, including the delivery of the solution and consideration sections of the recommendation. Key responsibilities include leading system discovery, documentation of business processes, solution design, and facilitating the transition to the configuration stage. The purpose of this role is to develop an understanding of our client's business process and their trading partner requirement to drive optimized solutions to our customers. This is a high-impact role where your work will meaningfully influence outcomes for our team and the customers we serve!

Requirements

  • 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience with customer implementation and solution testing
  • Consulting experience in common industry standard business practices, such as ERP or Ecommerce
  • Strong technical analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Work without supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong technical and business communication skills utilized in creating/designing organizational and systems processes documentation
  • Experience and professionalism presenting to and interfacing with executives both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to implement complex, large scale customer solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and efficiently
  • Familiarity with XML required
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, understand clients' business objectives and goals and anticipate needs of customer
  • Navigate and negotiate with customers as it relates to deviations, costs and timelines
  • Provide and review solution design with configuration team
  • Hold all teams and partners accountable to their defined responsibilities
  • Handle complex EDI translations
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to others to improve results/outcomes for the customer
  • Takes accountability for decisions working with minimal direction
  • The BSC team will work with ALL available tools such as: Workbench, Xrefs, DRE, Map Preferences, Teamwork, and NetSuite Bundle etc.
  • Must exhibit a curious expert mindset
  • Proactively and effectively communicate difficult information to stakeholders, viewed as trusted advisor ensuring customer and SPS priorities are aligned
