The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible for designing and developing visually compelling and engaging reports that drive business decisions. Works remotely across time zones, this role leads technical efforts to build data pipelines, gather requirements and work with executive stakeholders. The role calls for strong communication skills-oral, visual and written.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a BI engineering role
  • Proficient in SQL, Tableau, Excel
  • Excellent executive communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Generative AI
  • Proficient in Python
  • Tableau Data Analyst Certification

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Stakeholder, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and define hypotheses.
  • Develop, implement and optimize dashboards/reports using BI tools(Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reports and other deliverables.
  • Mentor to early in career and junior engineers while fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Work closely with Product Manager, Data Engineering, and data science team to develop integrated and advanced analytical solutions which power business decisions.
  • Work with stakeholders across different time zones.
