Overview As a Senior Marketing Intelligence Analyst, you will independently plan and execute advanced data analytics projects and initiatives with potential strategic impact on Paychex. You will interact with Directors and Vice Presidents across various departments, influencing and participating in cross functional teams. This role requires you to server as a subject matter expert in specific areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Looking for several years of experience in Data warehousing, data mining, or analytical environment.
  • Experience with SQL is desirable.
  • Technical experience with databases and data warehousing concept/tools and proven capability to strategically problem-solve using advanced quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Master's Degree - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Utilize financial and operational systems to retrieve and analyze data, conduct complex research, interpret findings with financial implications, draw conclusions, and develop and publish marketing reports to inform business unit decisions and performance evaluations.
  • Use advanced tools such as Microsoft Office, SQL, Alteryx, and Oracle for data mining and automation, extracting and storing data from internal Paychex systems for strategic analysis.
  • Design and build visual tools, such as dashboards, to enable management to quickly comprehend current business trends.
  • Lead team members through project and initiative completion, providing oversight and guidance to ensure successful task execution.
  • Participate in significant company initiatives, including product and system development, new business process implementation, control enhancements, and due diligence for acquisitions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in specific processes or areas of responsibility.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with business partners to maximize team service utilization for department needs.
  • Meet regularly with leadership to report on the status of reporting requests, present analysis results, and discuss potential operational improvements.
