About The Position

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to join our high-performing sales team. This is a hunter role focused on acquiring net-new midmarket customers (US-based with international presence, typically 500–5000 employees). You’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close — with deal sizes ranging from $2M–$14M and an average deal cycle of 3–6 months. We are looking for top sales talent in Denver, Chicago, Houston, Austin, New York. Boston and other major US cities. Requirements

  • 5 + years of B2B solution sales experience, ideally selling SaaS or professional services to SME/midmarket organizations.
  • Bachelors' degree in business or related field.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and closing net-new business.
  • Strong understanding of consultative and solution selling methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with travel and expense solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Build Pipeline: Identify and engage decision-makers within midmarket organizations using outbound strategies and leveraging inbound leads and partnerships
  • Full-Cycle Sales: Manage opportunities from initial discovery through proposal, RFP participation, negotiation, and close.
  • Solution Selling: Position one of many of ALTOUR’s suite of products (corporate travel management, meetings management, analytics, AI) as a strategic solution to customer pain points.
  • Value-Based Conversations: Articulate ROI and business outcomes to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (operations, implementation, account management, meetings management) to deliver a seamless sales experience.
  • Forecast & Report: Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast via Salesforce.
  • Travel Occasionally: Attend client meetings and industry events as needed.
