The Sr. Business Development Manager plays a critical role in identifying, structuring, and delivering highly visible, strategic partnerships that advance T-Mobile’s business priorities and create meaningful value for customers. This role scouts and evaluates complex market and partnership opportunities across established and emerging ecosystems, develops differentiated partnership strategies and business models, and leads negotiations and execution of strategic agreements. Serving as a senior point of accountability for partnership success, the role acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing strategic analysis, recommendations, and cross-functional leadership. The position requires strong financial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence and align stakeholders in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7-10 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience in Business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Structuring, Negotiation & Execution Identify, pursue, and execute strategic partnership opportunities from concept through contract execution. Lead deal strategy, structure economic and operational terms, negotiate agreements, and serve as the senior owner of partnership deals in close collaboration with Legal, Finance, Product, Technology, and Marketing teams.
  • Partner Relationship Management & Evolution Own senior-level partner relationships and manage the ongoing performance and evolution of strategic partnerships. Ensure partnerships continue to deliver against changing business objectives such as revenue, engagement, and customer value, and adjust partnership strategies as business needs evolve.
  • Strategic Analysis & Leadership Recommendations Deliver clear, data-driven analysis and recommendations on new opportunities, technologies, business models, and partnerships. Lead cross-functional reviews and provide strategic guidance to senior leaders to support informed decision-making.
  • Opportunity Scouting & Market Analysis Scout and assess new partnership and business opportunities by analyzing markets, evaluating key players and technologies, and identifying differentiated strategies aligned with T-Mobile’s priorities.
  • Domain Expertise & Thought Leadership Build and maintain deep expertise in priority sectors, serving as a subject-matter expert and thought partner to internal stakeholders.
