About The Position

The Sr. Business Development participates in the development and execution of the business development vision, strategy, and plans that will drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field required or 15 years of equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed within the country with overnight stays; approximately 25% travel expected.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a wide network of contacts to keep informed about current and future industry market actions.
  • Researches and analyzes the business environment, competitors, and customers to develop ideas for new products and services, pricing, and business models.
  • Directs financial feasibility studies, proposal development, and negotiations for new business opportunities.
  • Collaborates with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans.
  • Works with the executive team to evaluate new business opportunities, assess potential markets, and develop projects for use in new marketing initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
