THE ROLE: The Sr. Manager, AI-Neocloud Business Development, will focus on growing AMD GPU adoption and expansion with Neocloud CSPs who are deploying AI Infrastructure to support GPUaaS, Inference Platforms and Token Factory offerings that support Foundational Model Builder, AI Start-Up and Enterprise end-customers. This individual will be responsible for winning data center GPU deployments around AMD’s current and next generation GPUs, supporting the GTM and sales enablement activities for the successful sell-out of deployed GPUs, and coordinating deep collaboration between AMD, CSP and end-customer technical teams to ensure successful POC and production engagements. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of abilities and skills including: Character traits: self-motivated/self-directed, comfortable turning chaos into order, entrepreneurial, relational, ability to prioritize effectively, and comfortable wearing many hats Domain expertise: Datacenter GPU product, AI software stack, generative and traditional AI application knowledge Business skills: Marketing and presentation, written and oral communication, pipeline management, commercial negotiation, cross functional leadership Program management skills: understanding technical requirements and/or issues, product value propositions, and working with internal stakeholders to drive closure on topics

Requirements

  • Familiarity with all aspects across the product development and sales lifecycle process
  • Strong business and technical acumen with understanding of HW specification impact to AI workloads
  • Understanding of CSP (hyperscalers and/or neoclouds) landscape, business model, product offerings, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AI workloads and SW stack
  • Outstanding written, oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple high touch projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Foundation Model Builders, AI Startups and/or Large AI Enterprise
  • MBA (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and grow AI GPU deployment pipeline with new and existing neocloud-CSP partners
  • Quarterback various activities and initiatives with cross-functional members to support neocloud-CSPs in the evaluation, deployment, enablement, marketing and sell-out of AMD GPUs
  • Lead and manage regular pipeline calls with the CSP partner; bring in other team members as-needed to drive end-customer engagements and opportunities
  • Regularly report out current status of activities with neocloud-CSP accounts for executives
  • Support co-marketing activities with the CSP partner at conferences, webinars and/or other online or in-person events
  • Alongside Sales, be a primary contact point in customer engagements, evangelizing AMD data center GPU technologies/products and capabilities
  • Drive and manage pre-design win efforts and deliverables, including delivering product roadmap updates and coordinating deeper engineering engagements
  • Understand the customer’s business goals, HW and SW requirements, foster relationships and manage customer expectations to drive highest level of satisfaction
