The Opportunity This position Senior Business Analyst (BA) works out of our Charlottesville, VA office. This role is within our Informatics Business unit in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. We’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision-making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people. What You’ll Work On The Sr. BA plays a critical role on the Agile Development Team acting in a dual role as Business Analyst and Scrum Master. The person hired in this role will be actively engaged with the Team by representing; advocating and shepherding the many customer voices; ensuring that the products we deliver meet the diverse and competing needs of our customers (internal and external); understanding and identifying opportunities, flows and issues with discussions and interactions within the entire project team. They will also be responsible for facilitating discussions between Product Owner, Stakeholders, and the Development Team to ensure the full scope of requirements has been defined and balanced with an overall technical understanding of the solution. In addition, this role will require excellent communication and facilitation skills and the ability to work interdependently with the team and effectively challenge the status quo to reach successful business outcomes.
