About The Position

Plymouth Rock is seeking a mid-level professional to support the Marketing Director of our Motorcycle Insurance product. This role combines business analysis, project coordination, and customer-focused strategy, with a strong emphasis on marketing effectiveness, retention, and understanding the motorcycle customer. The motorcycle product (Rider Insurance) is a smaller but profitable portfolio within the Plymouth Rock enterprise, which makes thoughtful management especially important. This role helps ensure we continue to serve our customers well, make smart use of resources, and manage the product responsibly throughout its lifecycle. The right person for this role is curious, practical, and customer-minded — someone who understands that success comes from strong follow-through, clear communication, and an appreciation for the unique needs of motorcycle riders.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in a business analyst, marketing analytics, project management, or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work comfortably with data
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple teams
  • Clear communicator who can explain complex topics in a straightforward way
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a lean environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or another customer-focused, regulated industry
  • Background in customer retention, lifecycle marketing, or customer experience
  • Familiarity with specialty or enthusiast customer segments (motorcycle, powersports, lifestyle brands)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, HEAP and SQL a plus

Responsibilities

  • Track and summarize key performance metrics related to marketing effectiveness
  • Partner with creative, product and customer facing teams to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Monitor and optimize performance of Rider.com
  • Assist in management of digital media agency
  • Support efforts around organic marketing strategy
  • Turn data into clear insights and practical recommendations for strategic optimization
  • Develop a deep understanding of motorcycle customer behavior, seasonality, and lifecycle trends
  • Track and summarize key performance metrics related to customer growth and retention
  • Analyze retention and churn patterns and help identify opportunities to keep the right customers longer
  • Bring a customer perspective to decisions, ensuring changes are thoughtful and well-communicated
  • Oversee day-to-day project management for marketing campaigns, tracking milestones, managing priorities, and resolving blockers to keep work moving
  • Work across Marketing, Operations, IT, Customer Service, Saled and other teams to keep work moving forward
  • Partner with field business development team and coordinate on initiatives as needed
  • Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, budgets, timelines, and on-site execution to ensure seamless attendee experiences
  • As appropriate, provide support to the Teachers’ Insurance team; the other specialty line of business within the group
