Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. This team supports the design and test of complex vehicle power hardware and software systems for Amazon Leo satellites. We are seeking a Senior Build Engineer, who is familiar with designing, prototyping, and building of hardware-in-the-loop test setups that validate complex hardware and software test systems. This role is hands-on and spans flight vehicle design and verification, test infrastructure design reviews, cross-functional technical engagement, and execution of validation campaigns for current and next-generation power components and systems of the Amazon Leo Satellite product roadmap. You will work closely with Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Thermal, Reliability, Manufacturing, and external partners to ensure power systems meet targeted performance, safety, and mission requirements. The Satellite Power HITL team is responsible for ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of spacecraft power systems (battery, solar, power distribution, bus, etc.) from early development through production.
