About The Position

As a key member of the worldwide Bayer HR Community, you will design and build new benefit solutions and technologies from a global perspective. You will establish and govern global policies, frameworks, and practices across a broad scope of benefit solutions. In key HR projects, you will provide expertise and support in the Employee Benefits and Total Rewards arena, translating the people strategy into fit-for-purpose solutions for our business and employees. You will collaborate with the Global Process Owner for Benefits to implement efficient and operable solutions, ensuring proper communication of benefits trends and initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of professional work experience with strong and proven HR and Total Rewards knowledge, as well as project and change management skills
  • Strong understanding and experience in the area of employee benefits
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity on a global scale, delivering results in cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Strong collaborative skills and behavior: connecting, co-creating, inspiring, leading, and engaging others
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to co-create strategic views and plans
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical skills to build data-driven conclusions
  • Strong digital literacy and mindset

Responsibilities

  • Design and build new benefit solutions and technologies from a global perspective
  • Establish and govern global policies, frameworks, and practices for a broad scope of benefit solutions
  • Provide expertise and support in key HR projects related to Employee Benefits and Total Rewards
  • Collaborate with the Global Process Owner for Benefits to translate policies and frameworks into efficient solutions
  • Ensure proper communication of benefits trends, initiatives, and projects within respective communities and stakeholder groups
  • Monitor established benefit portfolios and solutions, following up on developments, needs, and global KPIs
  • Manage relevant global vendors, service level agreements, and make vs. buy decisions
  • Understand external market trends and the Bayer Benefits landscape
  • Sponsor or lead projects related to portfolio and process improvements
  • Stay on top of business needs and market trends in the benefits arena in partnership with the Head of Benefits
  • Be a respected partner for other functions, such as HSE, Procurement, Pallas, Asset Management, and IT, regarding benefits portfolio management
  • Participate in the negotiation of service agreements with external providers
