The Sr. Benefits Analyst provides day-to-day management and oversight of all LII employee benefit programs. In this role, you will drive employee benefits and wellness efforts with an impact that reaches across all of our US manufacturing and corporate locations.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Strong functional knowledge of assigned benefits plans.
  • A good working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office technical skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve workflow efficiency and increase productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in leave administration and leave vendor management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning, design, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive benefit programs
  • Oversee the day to day operational activities for medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, voluntary benefits, 401k, leaves, , and ancillary benefit plans
  • Assist Director in developing a benefits strategy, including implementing new plans and modifying existing plan.
  • Partner with Sr. Welless Analyst as needed to plan, implement, and manage appropriate interventions, programming, campaigns, competitions, and challenges that educate and engage the organization’s employees in healthy behaviors and measurable change in outcomes
  • Direct and manage all activity associated with open enrollment
  • Leverage all available tools and resources from the organization’s carriers, third party administrators and other providers and sources to educate the employee population on their benefits and ensure an integrated program delivery and management
  • Demonstrates a communication style which seeks and incorporates input from others and reflects consensus-building influence, leadership and initiative
  • Tracks, measures, and report results of new benefit offerings
  • Measures participation and satisfaction and facilitates changes and/or additions that reflect the changing needs of employees
  • May plan benefit fairs including speakers, health-related demonstrations, displays, and video materials provided by local agencies, insurance carriers, local/regional agencies, hospitals, and other resources
  • Is a visible and available representative of the organization to its staff (examples include attending screening events, presenting lunch and learns, classes and wellbeing events, booths at company sponsored events, etc.)
  • Triages individuals to appropriate care based on their health risks, interests and information that is relevant to their condition and health status (health coaching, EAP, medical plan, disease management, maternity programs, prescription carrier, etc.)
  • Assist with retirement plan administration
  • Maintain a current knowledge of federal, state and other regulations application to this position
  • Participate in benefit surveys to obtain knowledge of benefit program trends and prevailing practices among similar organizations
  • Responsible for ensuring all employee benefit materials, policies/procedure are updated and distributed timely to participants
  • Serve as primary contact for benefits questions from employees, supervisors, and vendors
  • Additional duties as assigned.
