About The Position
Overview: The Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Azure infrastructure for the organization. They are responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the Azure environment, contributing to the overall success of the company's IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions. Implement and manage Azure virtual networks, subnets, and routing. Ensure security and compliance of Azure environment. Optimize Azure resource utilization and cost management. Configure and troubleshoot Azure virtual machines and storage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure infrastructure with on-premises systems. Develop and maintain Azure automation scripts and templates. Monitor Azure infrastructure performance and capacity planning. Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution for Azure services. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-300 and AZ-301.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, and identity management.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies and cloud computing concepts.
- Expertise in Azure automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or other tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for Azure infrastructure.
- Experience in disaster recovery and high-availability strategies in Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
