About The Position

Our client is looking to bring on a SR AV specialist to support one of their Oil and Gas customers - The Senior AV Specialist is responsible for delivering white‑glove audio/visual support for executive‑level stakeholders and ensuring seamless execution of high‑visibility meetings and events. This role partners closely with Events, Communications, IT, and external AV vendors to design, operate, and continuously improve enterprise AV environments. The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on AV expertise, strong customer presence, and a consultative mindset—balancing day‑to‑day operational support with forward‑thinking innovation in AV technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
  • Technical knowledge and proven experience of VC and AV industry brands.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Audio Visual and Video Collaboration industry
  • Platform/brand experience: Zoom, MS Teams, Google, Extron, Crestron, Shure, AMX, Biamp
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
  • Assertive with client satisfaction orientation
  • Demonstrate good team leadership, motivation ability, and business acumen
  • Advanced verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen and a good understanding of general technology concepts
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with both internal teams and external customer

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated, high‑touch AV support for executive briefings, leadership meetings, internal events, and special engagements
  • Coordinate AV requirements with Events and Communications teams to support high‑visibility meetings and live events
  • Serve as the primary technical AV liaison with 3rd‑party vendors, including estimating labor, scheduling equipment, and managing execution
  • Perform setup, testing, and teardown of AV systems across large conference rooms, executive boardrooms, and event spaces
  • Maintain and support audio/visual systems including conference room technology, PCs, guest devices, and interactive hallway displays
  • Troubleshoot complex audio/video signal flow issues across networked AV environments
  • Contribute to the design, planning, and implementation of scalable AV solutions supporting future business growth
  • Analyze incidents and ticket trends to identify root causes and drive long‑term, enterprise‑level AV improvements
  • Build and maintain process documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for AV support
  • Act as a Senior escalation point for AV incidents, demonstrating calm, professional decision‑making in high‑pressure environments
  • Support flexible schedules covering building operations between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with occasional evening/weekend and on‑call coverage as needed
  • Perform additional duties as required to support AV operations and events
