The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. We are looking for a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to join the LinkedIn Corporate Finance team in driving the company’s financial planning, reporting, and long-term strategic analysis. In this role, you will translate financial data into executive narratives, identifying actionable insights behind risks and opportunities, drive competitive benchmarking, provide data driven support for internal comms teams as part of earnings cycle, and deliver projects to support the company's sustainable growth. We are looking for a forward-thinking analyst to modernize our finance function by leveraging AI-driven insights and automating processes to accelerate decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Thinking Learns to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and supports strategy development with business partners. Validates and executes pressure testing of growth opportunities. Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members. Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints.
  • Stakeholder Influence Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action. Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance.
  • Execution & Organization Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics- oriented perspective, with minimal supervision. Exercises judgment within defined procedures to develop workstreams and operational processes. Proactively identifies obstacles and works to unblock them with minimal support.
  • Performance Management Supports performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts for assigned metrics. Access, transform, and synthesize data from cross-platform data sources and analyze to assess signals, trends, and risks. Leverages advanced knowledge to develop hypotheses using identified signals, trends, and risks. Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.
