About The Position

This person will contribute to the company’s success by verifying requirements and executing use case scenario testing of software applications products. This role will report directly to a Software Engineering Manager and is responsible for successfully qualifying and ensuring that software applications products are released with high quality. Essential Functions: Requirements and use case testing of software applications products Execution of both manual and validation test plan (VTP) tests Development and writing of test plan procedures Generation of defect analysis reports Verification of defect reports Support hardware and software fault isolation. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communications, be a self-starter and demonstrate leadership capabilities. Communicates with contacts within and outside of own team which may include customers or vendors. Explains and interprets operational processes, practices and procedures of the job area to others within the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
