Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance (with ability to obtain an SCI).
  • 8+ years of experience in personnel security, FSO support, SCIF management, or direct program security support.
  • Expertise working within DCSA systems (DISS/NBIS) and clearance lifecycle management.
  • Experience advising program teams or leadership on security best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Willing and able to be at customer site or in Reston headquarters 3–4 days/week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct security support to assigned programs, ensuring personnel and facility requirements are embedded into daily operations.
  • Partner with program managers to proactively identify and mitigate personnel and facility security risks.
  • Manage day-to-day personnel security operations while driving process improvements that increase efficiency and compliance.
  • Process clearance actions in DISS/NBIS and maintain audit-ready records with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead investigations, reinvestigations, and briefings/debriefings while serving as a trusted advisor to cleared staff.
  • Deliver and report on annual security and insider threat awareness training tailored to program-specific risks and needs.
  • Track foreign travel, incident reports, and DD254 requirements while identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist with maintaining SCIF operating procedures, visitor controls, and audit readiness in accordance with ICD 705 and applicable security directives.
  • Assess existing personnel and program security workflows and recommend strategies to strengthen and streamline the overall security posture.
