About The Position

An Applications Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of business applications, clinical applications, and healthcare information systems projects. This position connects clinical and business teams with Information Technology teams, ensuring that technology solutions meet the needs of the healthcare system and ultimately improve patient care. The role will be part of the Information Services Project Management Office (PMO), Clinical Application. Requirements

  • 2 years of Clinical Environment Experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Required Or
  • Certified Scrum Master Required Or
  • Certification Note: Equivalent experience can be accepted in lieu of the required certifications listed (Certified Scrum Master or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare application project management experience preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Application implementations, upgrades, and optimization experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of diverse IT projects or multiple IT projects from cradle to grave, typically involving various disciplines within the IT function and customer business units.
  • Utilizing expertise and leadership skills to direct staff to resolve issues and ensure stakeholders, sponsors, and approving bodies meet project goals and requirements.
  • Utilizing a mix of waterfall and agile/scrum techniques and tools are used for team collaboration, issue tracking, and delivery management.
  • Facilitating and tracking project and technical issues to resolution.
