About The Position

Responsible for providing technical support, system configuration, integration, change management, and overall application management related to Air Methods’ IT Applications. Designs, develops/configures, codes (such as scripting), tests, debugs, and documents applications. Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and five to eight years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
6 plus years’ experience in a technical support role
Knowledge of trends and developments in the fields of data management, workflow automation and software data integration. Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaS) and tools (Terraform, Bicep etc.)
Proactive, self-starter with proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
Ability to participate in and lead projects
Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively and exercise independent judgment in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (technical writing & documentation)
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience applying Agile methodology
Data analysis
Excellent customer service skills (Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical employees)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with SSRS, SSIS
Strong SQL skills. Experience in programming, scripting languages a plus
Basic grasp of API’s and standards (REST, SOAP, OAuth)
Experience deploying and supporting Azure services and infrastructure
Regular scheduled attendance

Nice To Haves

Experience with iPaaS (Integration as a Service), and test automation a plus

Responsibilities

Application administrator duties for Air Methods’ IT Applications
Participate in hands on testing (manual and automated), bug reporting on in-house developed and integrated vendor applications
Troubleshooting and resolution of system, application and data incidents
Perform application releases to production environment following change management procedures
Create reports and write queries in support of business teams
Manage, triage and prioritize incoming user support requests, including operational issues, technical defects, data problems, and data reporting issues.
