Sr. App Coord/Epic Hospital Billing-Revenue Apps Billing
About The Position
The Sr. Application Coordinator has primary responsibility for design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of Hospital Billing applications. They are responsible for obtaining and maintain in-depth knowledge of the application functionality, and acquiring knowledge of the operational/revenue workflows to be implemented on the system. Jointly with each other and with the department representatives, they design a future-state workflow and build the system to support the new workflow. They work with each other in workgroups, and across interdisciplinary workgroups, to accomplish these goals as a team.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education, training and/or experience
- 3+ years of experience providing analytical support of administrative and revenue applications in a large health system
- EPIC Hospital Billing certification
- Possesses an understanding of Epic EMR system capabilities to address process requirements
