The Business Continuity Analyst Senior reports to a Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, or Crisis Management Supervisor or Manager in the First Line of Defense (1LoD). The position will assist with the development, implementation and execution of all core activities of the Business Continuity Planning, Operational Resilience or Crisis Management frameworks. Third Party Resilience: As part of the 1LOD, the Senior Analyst works with multiple critical business areas, supports and manages strategic execution of the Third Party Resilience framework and its related components including but not limited to (due diligence reviews, ongoing monitoring assessments, contract reviews, exercising/testing, training). Assess and monitor third-party vendors to ensure their BC/OR plans align with FFIEC requirements and organizational standards. Conduct due diligence reviews, including risk assessments and capability evaluations, for new and existing vendors. Collaborate with procurement, risk, and IT teams to enforce contractual BC/OR obligations. Review and update vendor contracts to include FFIEC-aligned BC/OR clauses (e.g., recovery time objectives, incident reporting). Ensure vendors provide documentation of their BC plans, test results, and incident response capabilities. Monitor line of business participation in joint BC tests with vendors to validate their recovery capabilities and integration with internal plans. Document test outcomes, identify gaps, and enforce remediation actions. Maintain a vendor BC/OR findings register and report metrics to leadership and regulators. Educate internal teams on vendor BC/OR requirements and risk mitigation strategies. Advocate for vendor resilience best practices across the organization.
