The Sr. Analyst, Restaurant Technology is responsible for managing, deploying, and supporting innovative technology solutions across restaurant operations for Popeyes and Firehouse Subs. This role focuses on project management, vendor coordination, and system implementations to drive operational efficiency and enhance guest experiences. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between corporate teams, vendors, franchisees, and field support staff, ensuring seamless execution of technology initiatives and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. This position is based in Miami, FL and is in the office 5 days a week.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, technology deployment, or project management, preferably in QSR, retail, or hospitality industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or Monday.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant systems, including POS platforms, labor scheduling tools, and back-of-house software.
  • Working knowledge of current and emerging technologies in the QSR industry.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and franchisees.
  • Detail-oriented and hands-on, with a commitment to delivering results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology solutions, including POS systems, labor scheduling tools, and back-of-house platforms.
  • Manage technology deployments for new restaurant openings, from vendor coordination to on-site implementation and go-live support.
  • Maintain trackers for project progress and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Support the development and rollout of innovative solutions such as kiosks, digital menu boards, and order-ready boards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, franchisees, and field support teams.
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate franchisee technology needs, including communication, training, and issue resolution.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate equipment delivery and support.
  • Assist in the development of a technology innovation pipeline by evaluating new tools and enhancements to improve operational efficiency and customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and pilot new solutions, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Manage an IT lab environment that mirrors restaurant operations for testing and prototyping.
  • Track and analyze support-related trends to identify and address common issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of support processes for new hardware and software solutions.
  • Leverage analytics to monitor project performance and ensure alignment with KPIs.
