As an International Country Manager Support, you’ll help the Country Manager to drive the day to day program execution on a fast-paced, dynamic international program. In this role, you’re accountable for successful management to contract requirements, ensuring the program achieves cost, schedule and technical performance requirements. This is an onsite position located at our Tucson, AZ facility. Relocation assistance is NOT available currently.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Prior Program/Project Management experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Tactics, Techniques and Procedures for both International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in manufacturing and operations, engineering
  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense environment, including work with senior levels within U.S. customers, foreign customers, and Raytheon leadership
  • Experience conducting international business, ITAR compliance, classified hardware, and transportation plans.
  • Demonstrated capture and proposal generation experience from concept to execution, to include experience developing and reviewing Gate 3, Gate 4 and Gate 5 packages for management approval
  • Ability to operate independently to navigate organizational complexities and to obtain resources (through fluence) to move initiatives forward
  • In-depth knowledge of the USG foreign release process, production contracting function, applicable contract obligations and ITAR licensing requirements.
  • Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Experience in the Defense or Aerospace industry
  • Working knowledge of contract formation and execution
  • Experience conducting international business
  • Demonstrated experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Experience supporting production - supply chain, engineering, operations, quality, or program management
  • Missile Systems Program Management Certification Level 7 (or able to achieve within one year)
  • Processing Visit Requests, Hosting Visitors
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Work to help meet contractual commitments including financial, technical and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
  • Help develop programs enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations. such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.
  • Act on behalf of the Country Manager to update customer on program status and performance. Additionally, you’ll help the Country Manager to anticipate and fulfill customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of company policy and directive changes and any resulting implications that warrant change management facilitation
  • Work closely with IPT leads and functional support personnel to support day-to-day program execution managing deliverables, test equipment support, and supporting future business, while recommending and implementing best practices as warranted by program execution situations.
  • Support the development of proposals and Gate 4s to fulfill customer requirements.
  • International and domestic travel may be required.
