About The Position

Georgia Power is committed to delivering clean, safe, reliable, and affordable energy to customers across the state. As customer adoption of behind-the-meter (BTM) solar and energy storage continues to grow, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant witness testing has become increasingly critical to meeting customer expectations and maintaining system reliability. Witness testing is on-site inspection conducted by the utility to verify that a distributed energy resource (DER) safely and correctly interacts with the electrical grid before granting permission to operate.
