POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr Analyst, People Analytics and Reporting is responsible for the intake, planning, communication, and oversight of complex projects utilizing HR data to provide HR and organizational leaders with the insight necessary to drive business decisions for a 43k employee Fortune 300 Company utilizing HRIS (Workday), Snowflake, and PowerBI reporting & analytics platforms. The Sr Analyst, People Analytics and Reporting serves as the teams project management function and leverages their organizational & analytical skills, knowledge of application tools, visualization techniques and best practices, and HR acumen to drive the development of ad hoc & live analytical solutions that meet the business requirements. The Sr Analyst, People Analytics and Reporting works closely with IT architecture and HR Center of Excellence teams as well as peer developers and database engineers to ensure product development meets design criteria and deployment timelines. The Sr Analyst, People Analytics and Reporting contributes to the overall improvement of People Data reporting by maintaining the data systems and implementing processes and initiatives that ultimately increase the effectiveness and integrity of data reporting and documentation. This role relies heavily on communication & analytical skills to evaluate complex information, formulate insights, and develop sound recommendations to support the management of human capital analytics through proper data management & storytelling. Anticipated workload for this role is: 30% Project calls covering intake with internal customers, reviewing progress and troubleshooting with developers, conducting routine update calls with customers, and training end-users to be successful with their tools. 30% Technical work including leading development of some projects, making data connections in Snowflake, building proof of concepts, development drafts, and production versions of dashboards and tools to support HR and Operational Teams in the understanding and performance of their organizations. 20% Analysis, Interpretation, and exposition of data presented through current and new dashboards and tools. 20% Support of our HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence with Ad Hoc requests. The ideal candidate for this role has been on a HR/People Analytics team(s) in increasing positions of responsibility for 5+ years. They are a communicator and people-person with a passion for data storytelling and finding the so-what. They are comfortable and tactful setting timelines and expectations with both peers and leaders and holding themselves and others to those expectations. They are equally a savvy, capable analyst who can code in SQL and JSON while also chewing bubblegum and walking. They enjoy being a senior-level individual contributor, while also having influence over peers and partners. They thrive in the uncertain, and have the confidence to align contrasting priorities towards a common goal. This role is remote, but candidate must be located in or relocate to the Phoenix, AZ area to attend occasional events with our data consumers at our Corporate Headquarters.
