The Senior Financial Analyst - Jewelry Services combines technical data analysis skills with financial expertise to support comprehensive planning, reporting, and analysis of Jewelry Services operations. This role combines financial and operational data analysis to maintain accurate reporting, improve operational visibility, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst works as a strategic business partner, optimizing overall financial performance through data analysis and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field of study; with 3-5 years of combined data and/or financial analysis experience
  • Experience in retail, wholesale, e-commerce, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience with data and financial analysis in a cross-functional organization
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and reporting platforms required
  • Advanced Excel skills required (Macros, Pivot Tables, nested IF Statements, Lookups, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data analysis, reporting, and technical tools
  • Effective communicator and collaborative partner who thrives in dynamic environments and works well across teams and organizational levels

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in data analytics and process automation tools (Alteryx, etc.) highly desired
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) highly desired
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, etc.) and financial reporting tools preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards, reports, and KPIs to improve timely reporting and analysis
  • Generate ad hoc reporting from large, complex data sets to support financial analysis, decision making and audit documentation.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to streamline processes, enhance data analysis, and expand on data-driven insight opportunities
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing variance analysis with system-generated capabilities
  • Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
  • Other special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and duties as assigned
