About The Position

The Cable HQ Financial Planning & Analysis team works closely with the Strategic Development (SD) organization on forecasting, comprehensive analysis, and business evaluation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, analytical thinker with strong financial modeling skills and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly with senior leadership.

Requirements

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Essbase or other enterprise financial systems preferred.
Financial modeling and data analysis skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a high performing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Responsibilities

Track and consolidate financial activity related to revenue, operating expenses, capital investments, and headcount across all Strategic Development initiatives to ensure overall financials are accurate.
Develop, implement, and enhance financial and operational reporting systems to support business planning and decision-making.
Help prepare, consolidate, & analyze forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans (LRP) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including business case evaluations, capital expenditure justifications, and profitability assessments for new programs and investments.
Serve as a liaison between Strategic Development and various teams including National Accounting, Procurement, & Supply Chain.
Present analyses and key findings to senior SD and Finance leadership on a regular basis.
Provides evaluation of process improvement opportunities within current business activities.
Consistently exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in supporting business and financial objectives with a willingness to tackle challenges & prevent roadblocks.
