About The Position

As part of an experienced team of eDiscovery and litigation support professionals, the Senior Analyst provides end-to-end eDiscovery and legal project support to the Legal Department and key business stakeholders. This role supports litigation, investigations, and other legal matters through project planning, custodian management, data analytics, reporting, and adherence to defensible eDiscovery protocols and systems. The role leverages advanced analytics and data science techniques (including machine learning and generative AI where appropriate) to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights. This is a customer-facing role working closely with in-house counsel, outside counsel, paralegals, investigators, global security, and preferred eDiscovery vendors

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 5+ years of experience working in a Legal environment, preferably in Litigation, with emphasis on e-discovery and litigation support project management or other related legal activities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, finance, management information systems, statistics, mathematics, data science, related field, or foreign equivalent
  • Certified e-Discovery Specialist (CEDS)
  • Relativity Certifications (RCA, RCU)
  • Juris Doctor, Paralegal certificate, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience working in a Legal environment, preferably in Litigation, with emphasis on e-discovery and litigation support project management and legal hold order processes
  • 5+ years in a data science/technical role
  • 3+ years of experience configuring Relativity workspaces, active learning models, administering user credentials, and handling document reviews
  • 1+ years of experience with simultaneously handling multiple projects and work teams
  • Intermediate knowledge of the discovery/litigation process and the requirements imposed by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Intermediate knowledge of data assessment, early case assessment tools, structural and conceptual analytics, search term methodologies, technology assisted review, continuous active learning, and report generation for consumption by the AWTs
  • Intermediate knowledge of litigation support and electronic discovery practices, workflow design, and tactical use of technology within the Legal environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in leading discovery applications such as Relativity, Disco, Reveal, and Purview
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Highly developed understanding of the litigation process, including all phases of discovery (i.e., preservation, collection, processing, and document review and production)
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to advise all levels of personnel on complex technical issues
  • Ability to write professional and concise process and end-user documentation

Responsibilities

  • Assist Attorney Work Teams (AWTs) with identification, preservation, and collection of electronic and hard-copy information from custodians in response to litigation, investigations, and regulatory requests.
  • Serve as the primary case team liaison for collection, processing, hosting, review, and production of data from internal and external repositories.
  • Plan and manage litigation support activities for assigned matters, including timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination.
  • Coordinate and manage contract attorney document reviews with external vendors; partner with in-house and outside counsel to drive review efficiency and quality.
  • Apply Legal Enterprise Discovery processes to deliver high-quality, consistent, and defensible work product in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Analyze non-standard or complex discovery issues and develop compliant solutions aligned with Federal and State discovery requirements.
  • Validate and document chain of custody, scope of search, and completeness of collections.
  • Support review workflows, analytics, privilege logs, and document productions.
  • Administer and manage the Relativity platform, including analytics, TAR/CAL, user administration, and production workflows; stay current on platform enhancements.
  • Administer the custodian tracking system, perform quality control, develop reports, and coordinate with IT as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training and documentation for internal Legal staff and external partners on eDiscovery processes and systems.
  • Demonstrate high integrity, sound judgment, ownership, and effective communication when handling sensitive matters.
  • Consistently demonstrate high integrity, ethical behavior, ownership of actions, and follow-through on commitments.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to advise all levels of personnel on complex technical issues.
  • Deep familiarity with litigation processes and the EDRM.
  • Consistently exhibit and value teamwork and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work after hours or travel on short notice for urgent requests.
