Job Summary The Content Acquisition department is responsible for licensing cable television content used in our cable systems across the nation. We are currently seeking a motivated, analytical, and dedicated individual to assist in all facets of rights management, contract and database administration and operations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Database administration/Channel Lineup Management.
  • Participate in the review, approval and administration of changes to customer’s channel lineups.
  • Publish channel lineups/policies and administer channel overrides in CLM (Channel Lineup Manager) application.
  • Originate user story creation and participate in application/DB functionality enhancement discussions with technology teams.
  • Partner with a variety of cross-functional teams, including TPX, Comcast Business, Billing, etc. to ensure end-to-end channel lineup integrity.
  • Manage multiple projects ranging from tracking contract compliance to analyzing network carriage and preparing executives for contract negotiations.
  • Provide continued assistance to management in fulfilling programming and packaging strategies and goals.
  • Create and maintain internal reports and presentations used by executives and field management.
  • Update reports to summarize contract terms for carriage, packaging and distribution commitments through the contract checklist process.
  • Manage content acquisition processes including aspects such as reviewing and analyzing data, confirming contractual rights and obligations, communicating with management and preparing reports.
  • Manages coordination of the Channel Change Request (CCR) process from start to finish.
  • Complete collection, preparation and analysis of CCR's, confirm contract rights and obligations, lead communications with cable systems management, gain approvals of cable HQ management, communicate approvals to systems and prepare tracking and completion reports.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
