About The Position

Con Edison's Commodities Procurement & Scheduling department is seeking a Senior Analyst to support natural gas supply operations for Con Edison and Orange & Rockland customers. This role involves developing and executing daily, monthly, and seasonal strategies for natural gas procurement, pipeline capacity, and storage optimization. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for scheduling natural gas on interstate pipelines and will operate at the intersection of supply planning and market analysis, requiring collaboration with gas suppliers, pipelines, and internal departments to ensure reliable and cost-effective energy flow across the service territory.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute daily, monthly, and seasonal strategies for natural gas procurement, pipeline capacity, and storage optimization
Schedule natural gas on interstate pipelines
Work at the intersection of supply planning and market analysis, collaborating with gas suppliers, pipelines, and internal departments to keep energy flowing reliably and cost-effectively across our service territory
