About The Position

Cabot has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Analyst, Product Management to help develop and implement business opportunities that will optimize growth and profitability across the Carbons, Compounds and Silica Technologies (CST) business in the Americas. Responsibilities would include assisting in proposing and reviewing changes in product portfolio, inventory targets, pricing actions, and manufacturing plans. The role would also be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of materials for various business meetings such as monthly operating reviews and S&OP meetings. The Sr. Analyst, Product Management will work out of Billerica or another North American Cabot location. In this role your primary duty will be to help the product managers identify and drive projects to improve overall operating efficiency, grow the portfolio, and improve operating margins in the Americas region. Using your knowledge, interpersonal skills, energy, and great personality you will build relationships across functions within Cabot both regionally and globally. This role requires a highly intelligent self-motivated person with a positive attitude, a ton of good energy, strong organizational skills, and urgency to make things happen. A successful candidate will be someone who can: Evaluate and monitor all aspects of the product portfolio, identify areas of opportunity and work with the appropriate team to drive improvements• Track market trends, make recommendations and support commercial teams in their implementation of pricing actions, including outlier reviews• Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams on new product offerings, positioning in our portfolio and target customer plans• Work with regional planning and manufacturing teams to continuously optimize production and inventory plans to maximize margins• Prepare and present operations information in various monthly meetings to a broad range of teams and functions in CST

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Finance or Science.
  • 5+ years of related marketing or financial/supply chain analysis experience; product management experience preferred
  • Business Savvy. Demonstrates financial and marketing acumen (addressable markets, customer segmentation, voice of customer, value propositions, pricing strategy, margin growth, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills. Whether it's reviewing product portfolios or sales trends across markets, a key activity will be finding areas of opportunity and working across functionals to develop plans to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Guide Results. Acts with urgency and tenacity. Takes ownership and responsibility for finding avenues into new clients. Uses initiative, ingenuity, and humility to get customers to respond.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills. Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications that are timely, concise, clear, and relevant while delivering with empathy.
  • Cross functional team building. Utilizing indirect influence in cross-functional teams from supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and others to develop plans for implementation and track/support projects to achieve desired outcomes.
