We are seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate to primarily support our growing Disposition team, part of the broader acquisitions, investment management and asset management department, in the disposition of assets. This role will be directly involved in the core responsibilities of the disposition process, including underwriting, negotiating and closing, as well as pipeline tracking and broker management. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will work closely with, and learn from, our experienced senior management team, and have the opportunity to work on new business initiatives. We prefer candidates who can work from our Dallas office but are open to discussing other locations.

Requirements

• 1-3 (3+ for Associate) years of single-family rental (SFR) or build-to-rent (BTR) acquisitions or dispositions experience.
• Familiarity with valuation methodologies, comparable sales analysis, and real estate transaction processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; able to perform financial modeling, cash flow and cap rate analysis
• Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree required, ideally focused on Finance, Business or Real Estate, preferred
• Motivated self-starter and collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Asset management, investment management, or private equity experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support deal disposition and acquisition efforts, including valuation and underwriting, transaction and pipeline management.
• Manage and track the dispositions pipeline, ensuring timely execution and status updates for each asset.
• Accurately and efficiently underwrite individual single-family homes using appropriate local comparables
• Assist in streamlining the dispositions process
• Assist in technical portfolio-level analysis to inform best economic outcome for portfolio repositioning, exits and recapitalizations
• Support contract and deal negotiation, due diligence, and working cross-functionally with internal partners as well as third-party providers
