About The Position

In this role, you will support the accounting team by ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations, including managing accounts payable, maintaining inventory and general ledger records, and assisting with month-end close processes. Your work is essential to maintaining financial accuracy and smooth operations, with success measured by timely, accurate processing, resolving discrepancies, and supporting reliable reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of related experience in accounting preferred
• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical, resourceful, and have top-notch problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail with an ability to create and document effective and efficient process
• Flows for high volume processing
• Ability to handle difficult situations with confidence and attain agreement
• Positive outlook

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with large vendors (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable: Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice validation, coding, payment scheduling, and troubleshooting issues to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Inventory Management and Reconciliation: Perform inventory adjustments, conduct reconciliations by comparing physical counts with system record to maintain accurate stock levels and cost tracking.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Update and maintain the general ledger with accurate financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Month-End Support: Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and updating inventory and operating reports.
• Data Entry and Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide data entry support and complete other assignments as needed to support the accounting team.
