We're currently seeking an experienced Sr. Accounting Analyst to join our at our New Albany, OH Aromair facility. What You’ll Do: As the Sr. Accounting Analyst, you will be the backbone of our financial reporting and operational efficiency. You’ll maintain critical financial reports, drive the month-end close process, and spearhead special projects that ensure the company hits its financial targets. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys turning complex data into actionable insights

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6–9 years of related accounting experience.
  • Systems: Previous experience with the SAP platform is highly preferred.
  • Industry: Experience working within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Month-End & Reporting: Execute journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare the business review reporting package.
  • Operational Performance: Measure and analyze plant performance, focusing on Sales, COGS, labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Asset Management: Initiate all capital purchase orders within SAP and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory variance analysis.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating financial forecasts and budgets. Analyze discrepancies against actual results to drive future accuracy.
  • Strategic Support: Partner with site management to identify and prioritize operational accounting opportunities; assist with cost estimates and pricing decisions.
  • Compliance & Audit: Maintain SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs) according to company policy. Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Cash Management: Monitor and reconcile weekly cash activities
