About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting for various areas, including inventory and employee benefits. This role involves assisting in the preparation of financial statements and analytics, maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting ERP and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
3+ years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Inventory accounting knowledge.
Audit experience.
Industry experience in pharma/biotech is helpful.
Strong interpersonal skills and a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting for inventory, prepayments, and other areas.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports using Excel and Power BI.
Maintain financial information in compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulations.
Support the implementation of new accounting standards and procedures.
Contribute to ERP and process improvement initiatives.
Assist with audit coordination and prepare work papers and supporting documentation.
Document accounting process narratives and streamline Excel workbooks.
Perform related duties and ad-hoc analyses as assigned.
