Requirements

  • Proven experience in a publicly traded company with a robust internal control environment.
  • 2-5 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience, preferably in a multi-entity and multi-location organization.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to present financial information clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with multiple ERP and accounting systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate daily with managers and leaders while reporting to the Segment Group Controller.
  • Prepare monthly financial packages for subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage monthly financial reporting, including account reconciliations and detailed financial analysis.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and company policies.
  • Understand a cost model that lives within multiple systems
