About The Position

Job Summary Responsible for the overall accounting operations of the Wellness Centers. Works closely with hospital finance department to assure compliance, appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and processes. Works as a liaison with Member Management Software Vendor to assure accurate financial management, as well as, coordinate orientation and training of staff in the computer operations of the Wellness Centers. Supervises business office managers. Assists Director and Program Managers with quality of care, customer service and special projects as assigned. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA required.
  • Minimum of two years accounting experience, preferably in health care setting required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a fast paced environment requiring the ability to set priorities, coordinate and organize multiple tasks and maintain control of work flow.
  • Employee must be proficient in the use of various computer programs.
  • Must be able to reason and solve problems independently.
