About The Position

The Sr. Account Manager will manage strategic customers including the day-to-day relationship with specific customer base(s) as well as key internal stakeholders, with the intent of delivering sustained profitable growth.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field or combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years experience in Large Account or Regional Sales, preferably in Food
  • Exposure to food manufacturing, supply chain optimization, contract manufacturing, or other relevant experience
  • Direct customer-facing leadership
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex territory/assigned account and supports business decisions
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact and build strong, collaborative relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Approaches customer engagement and influence strategically, aligning it with the organization's long-term growth
  • Work cross-functionally with peers in R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales/Business Development, Finance and Executive Team to validate, prioritize and deliver Customer projects
  • Provide relevant information, updates, and insights to both the Customer and Maker’s Pride cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery against Customer requirements.
  • Participate in Customer specific Product Development, Innovation Sessions, and Commercialization processes including pipeline management from inception to completion providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and execute Customer specific account plans to grow sales in line with company strategy. Includes partial ownership in budget, forecasting, growth and pricing plans.
  • Influences commercial decisions (pricing, revenue targets, margin initiatives, budgeting) in partnership with Sales leadership.
  • Analyze market trends in the industry, using external and internal resources to identify growth and profit improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to long-term customer strategy, including growth road mapping, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning, in partnership with Sales leadership.
  • Lead customer scorecards and quarterly reviews, manage commercial escalations, support contractual compliance, and participate in scenario planning and risk-management activities.
