About The Position

AWS is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Manager to help hyper-growth Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) innovate and exceed revenue goals. This role involves selling to Strategic ISVs and expanding business with existing ISV customers. The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for setting a long-term strategy and executing daily to grow customer accounts. These companies are both customers and partners with AWS, having multiple Go-To-Market goals. The role requires building and maintaining broad relationships, developing and managing opportunities, and facilitating a large team of extended resources.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience

Responsibilities

  • Set a long-term strategy and execute daily to grow customers.
  • Build and maintain broad relationships.
  • Develop and manage opportunities.
  • Facilitate a large team of extended resources.
  • Team with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner organization, and sales.
  • Build relationships across an account through creative systems thinking, visioning, and collaborative execution with an extended team to address all ISV customer's needs.
  • Sell at the most strategic (C-level) within the account.
  • Implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests.
  • Understand how to strongly advocate for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs.
  • Drive new service adoption and new line of business development.
  • Manage dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.
