About The Position

We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Foreman in our Waco office to service and update the fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings. The work will mainly be in new construction environment exposed to the elements and require heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and standing throughout the day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts up to 50 feet tall.
• Valid driver’s license or identification card.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Some electrical work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Fire Sprinkler industry installing sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pump.
• Be a leader: oversee, direct, and delegate appropriate tasks to fitters and helpers as needed to fulfill project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed the goals established by the project manager.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
• Participation in on call rotation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
• Must maintain truck inventory.
• Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Experience with power machine, threader and other essential tools.
• Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
