About The Position

The Spring-Up Technician helps build the backbone of our furniture. In this hands-on role, you’ll install springs and webbing on furniture frames to make sure every piece is strong, comfortable, and built right before it moves to upholstery. You’ll work closely with frame builders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, teamwork, and getting the job done right matter. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three or more years’ experience in furniture spring-up or frame assembly required.
  • Basic understanding of furniture frame construction and support systems
  • Ability to use basic hand and pneumatic tools
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Installs springs, webbing, and related support materials onto furniture frames according to specifications and production standards.
  • Assists with building and preparing furniture frames for upholstery.
  • Stretches, secures, and aligns webbing to ensure proper support and durability.
  • Uses hand tools, pneumatic tools, and staple guns safely and effectively.
  • Inspects frames, springs, and webbing for quality, alignment, and workmanship.
  • Makes adjustments or repairs to ensure frames meet quality expectations.
  • Follows production schedules to meet daily output goals.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Complies with all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to support overall production flow.
