Spring Musical Music Director
About The Position
Thomas Middle School has a Music Director stipend position available for the spring 2026 musical. The Music Director will have extensive direct involvement, beginning with the rehearsal process up until the end of the final show. Rehearsals: Monday and Tuesday afternoons, after school, with the potential to adjust days if needed Production dates: December 8, 2025 - April 30, 2026 Pay: $900; no benefits available Faith's Law: Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if they have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, been asked to resign, or were disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct. Applicants who are offered a position will be required to affirm that they are not disqualified from employment for these reasons and to authorize this review.
Responsibilities
- learn the vocal music for Musical productions and teach it to the cast
- prepare for and attend musical auditions
- prepare for music rehearsals
- attend throughout the production once music is learned to assist with trouble areas and ensure music is done correctly
