About The Position

The Spray Necker Technician at CANPACK Group is responsible for ensuring that spray and/or necker machines operate at peak efficiency and within quality specifications. This involves assisting with machine operation, performing daily maintenance and audits, conducting technician-level repairs, troubleshooting faulty equipment, and performing routine quality checks. The role also includes assisting a Spray/Necker Specialist with repairs of defective parts. Requirements

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations

Nice To Haves

• Engineering or Technical Degree preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail preferred
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of spray and/or necker equipment while maintaining quality standards
• Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan
• Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs)
• Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies
• Assist Spray/Necker Specialist with repair of defective parts
• Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production
• Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role
