Requirements

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - per safety guidelines.
  • Mobility to cover expansive manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering or Technical Degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
  • Self-motivated with high attention to detail preferred.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with operation of spray and/or necker equipment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan.
  • Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs).
  • Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies.
  • Assist Spray/Necker Specialist with repair of defective parts.
  • Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production.
  • Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
