Position Summary: Assist production welders in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment by preparing parts, feeding and removing assemblies, performing basic spot‑weld tasks under supervision, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on‑the-job training provided
  • Prior manufacturing or welding shop experience helpful but not required
  • Ability to read basic work instructions, measure to tolerances, and use hand tools
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed; 18+ years old

Responsibilities

  • Load, position, and clamp parts for spot welding and assist welders during setups
  • Operate basic spot‑weld equipment and hand tools per instruction and safety procedures
  • Inspect welded assemblies for visible defects and remove finished parts to staging areas
  • Clean and maintain work area, consumables, and basic tooling; report equipment issues
  • Follow written work orders, production schedules, and quality standards
  • Adhere to all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures
