About The Position

This position will be responsible for providing quality service to all guests to ensure a clean and safe dining experience in a timely and professional manner in the ESPN Sportsbook venue. This is a non-supervisory position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to prepare, read and comprehend documents.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs including but not limited to counting money.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state or federal law.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move 60 pounds.
  • The employee must also be able to push, pull, drag and/or lift 165 pound keg up to 6 inches off the ground.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide stellar customer service.
  • Retrieve dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware during and after meals and deliver to assigned dishwashing area.
  • Retrieve clean dishes, glassware, and silverware from dishwashing area and distribute to service station locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas including duties such as: vacuum, sweep, mop, pick up trash, etc.
  • Fill ice stations, polish silver, fold napkins, and stock supplies including dishes.
  • Prepare tables for guests including removal any dirty dishes, cleaning tables, changing tablecloths or linens, resetting with plates, stemware, glasses, silverware, and napkins.
  • Take beverages and refills of beverages to customers at appropriate times.
  • Remove trash and dirty linens from work area and deliver to appropriate areas.
  • Greet, welcome and thank guests appropriately.
  • Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
  • Any reasonably requested job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel.
