About The Position

Coordinates, supports, and assists with various aspects of youth clinic programs. This includes but is not limited to basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, tumbling and volleyball. NOTE: This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions. It does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Must possess a strong work-ethic.
• Ability to multi-task during high traffic time periods
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practice and games.
• Represents the YMCA and maintains appropriate relationships with members, parents and youth.
• Assists with leadership of volunteer coaches.
• Assists in the monitoring of inventory of department's equipment and ensures effective, safe use.
• Assists in daily sports operations.
• Serves as a positive role model to all participants.
• Keeps score for games.
• Perform all safety and emergency procedures as needed.
